Jennifer is a Paris-based writer, researcher and anthropologist.

In her writing and research, she explores digital technologies as cultural expressions and how our digital lives are affecting the current environmental crisis.

Wanting to be an animal documentary film maker as a child to contemplating a career as a marine biologist, and eventually finding her calling as an anthropologist, Jennifer's journey has been an exploration of human and non-human relationships.

After living, studying and working in London for six years she embarked on a PhD at the University of Hamburg. She won competitive Horizon 2020 funding and was a fellow at the POEM project and was awarded summa cum laude for her PhD thesis "Assembled Remembering - Youth and Digital Memory". Moreover, she was part of the first cohort of Algorithm Watch’s algorithmic accountability fellowship.

She is currently working as a user researcher in an agency-setting where her research informs service design for international sustainability and environmental projects.

Jennifer is available for freelance writing, website copy, talks and collaborations on technology and environmental issues.
